| This cake
was made for a cheerleader who loves pink. The border at the
edge of the top of the cake is created using a 104 tip and moving the hand
in a back and forth motion to achieve the ruffle. The edge of the
ruffle is then edged in pink icing using a #1 tip.
To make the center oval where the printing is piped, cut out an oval from a piece of cardboard. Place this cardboard on top of the dried buttercream frosting. Use a toothpick to outline the oval. Remove the cardboard and pipe the border around the outside edge of the oval on top of the toothpick outline. |
