Need a Jewish-Themed Cake and not sure what to make.  Here's a quick and easy buttercream cake for just about any Jewish occasion.  Need that cake for a get-together, barbecue or party.  Here's your answer.

1.  Frost the cake with white buttercream frosting.

2.  Place a circle template in the center of the cake and trace.

3.  Place a Star of David cookie cutter in the center of the circle and press or use a template.

4.  Make a bow of light blue buttercream and a bow of dark blue buttercream and a bowl of medium blue buttercream

5.  Fill a bag with dark blue buttercream and use the tip for making the side rectangular stripes.  Pipe the stripes on the sides of the cake.

6.  Fill a bag with medium blue buttercream and make the cornelli work as shown in the picture.

7.  Use a #13 or 14 tip and pipe a star-drop design on the entire star outline in dark blue buttercream.

8.  Switch to a #22 tip and pipe the top and bottom borders using light blue buttercream.

9.  Use a #2 or #3 and pipe cornelli work using medium, blue buttercream.  Be sure that NO piped lines touch anything and that you end where you began the cornelli work so that the piped lines touch.
