Cutout Cake

| 1. Bake sheet cake. Place on food safe covered board.
Enlarge the pattern and make a template by cutting out the pattern.
2. Place pattern on the sheetcake or use a toothpick to draw the outline of the pattern/design. 3. Cut out the design. Set the scraps of cake aside. 4. Cut out a stem for the top of the pumpkin as well as the leaf from the scraps and glue into place with buttercream frosting. 5. Frost each section appropriate color. 6. Make indentions for the eyes. These may be painted with black or very dark brown frosting using an artists brush and a little bit of water. 7. Use appropriate round tip size to make the brown lines for the stem, green lines for the leaf and orange lines for the pumpkin. |
